Arrival Rules
From September 26, 2024, through October 8, 2024, access to the pilgrimage area will be restricted.
Procedures for pilgrims’ travel to and arrival in Uman:
1) Travel by car:
— During curfew hours, travel by car
is prohibited.
Travel during curfew hours (from 00:00 to 04:00) is permitted only when accompanied by a police patrol from state border checkpoints to the city of Uman (call the hotline)
2) Large passenger vehicles carrying pilgrims will be allowed to enter the city of Uman only at one location (Vyzvolyteliv Street).
Passengers will disembark and proceed to the pilgrimage area on Chelyuskintsev Street (for large passenger vehicles) and at the intersection of Turistiv and Sadova Streets (for passenger cars).
At the entrance to the city of Uman (Vyzvolyteliv Street), pilgrims will be screened for prohibited items using technical equipment.
If pilgrims are accompanied by patrol police, this inspection at the screening checkpoint
will not be conducted.
The following are prohibited in the pilgrimage area:

- bringing in or transporting alcoholic beverages;

- the sale of alcoholic beverages and alcohol-based
substances;
- the sale of alcoholic beverages and alcohol-based

- the sale and use of pyrotechnic products or devices, including salutes, fireworks, and other explosive substances that produce a loud noise;

- the sale of air guns and toys that imitate weapons.
Pilgrims must strictly comply with the requirements of law enforcement officials!!!
This includes requirements regarding compliance with the curfew established in the city of Uman,
as well as responding to “Air Raid” and “Missile Danger” alerts.
