A 24-hour "hotline" for Hasidic pilgrims is operating in Uman
A 24-hour hotline is available in Uman for Hasidic pilgrims arriving in the city for Rosh Hashanah. Foreigners can call 38 093 122 50 50 to report any problems or difficulties that arise during their pilgrimage.
The hotline is designed to ensure that pilgrims can quickly receive assistance in the event of lost documents, difficulties crossing the border, questions regarding their stay in Ukraine, or other problematic situations.
According to Iryna Rybnytska, executive director of the charitable organization “Uman City Historical and Cultural Center Foundation,” inquiries are accepted in three languages.
“The hotline for Hasidic Jews operates in three languages—Ukrainian, English, and Hebrew. It is designed to resolve issues that may arise during the pilgrimage: loss of documents, problems crossing the border, and other situations. Pilgrims can also receive counseling assistance,” explained Iryna Rybnytska.
