The 2024 Pilgrimage is taking place under wartime conditions. As such, please be aware of the following issues:
There is no air travel option within Ukraine. You can travel to Uman by bus or by car. There is also an option to travel by railroad, however the railway connections between Uman and other Ukrainian cities are limited
Please be aware that there might be a significant wait time to cross the border while coming to Ukraine and returning back home. Please expect delays at the border and plan your travel accordingly.
Please expect traffic delays when traveling to and from Uman.
Please keep in mind that a curfew is imposed in the majority of Ukrainian regions. Only the Transcarpathian region is exempt from the curfew. It is strictly prohibited to remain outside or remain in the public areas during curfew. The curfew duration is different for various regions.
In Uman the curfew is enforced from 12 am through 4 am.
