Starting Monday, September 23, security measures will be tightened in Uman, according to Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.
According to him, as in previous years, special restrictions on entry, exit, and the movement of citizens will be in effect in the city.
In a Telegram post, he listed the road sections where vehicle entry will be prohibited, as well as those where checkpoints will be reinforced.
As the official reported, a number of streets will be closed to vehicle traffic:

- from Highway M-30 to Uman, on Derevyanka Street (the “Standard Budivelny” LLC facility);

- from the M-30 highway to Uman, on Gorikhova Street;

- from Highway M-30 to Uman, on Pavlova Street.
Vehicle traffic will be permitted on the following streets under enhanced checkpoint controls:

- entrance from Highway M-30 to Uman, onto Derevyanka Street;

- entry from Highway M-05 to Uman, on Internatsionalna Street;

- entry from the village of Horodetske (Palanska territorial community) to Uman, at the intersection of Horodetska Street and Maksym Zaliznyak Street;

- the entrance from Highway M-30 to Uman on Mykhailivska Street;
-
- the entrance from Highway M-30 to Uman on Vokzalna Street;
-
- the entrance from the village of Rodnikovka (Palanska Territorial Community) to Uman, on Kyivska Street;
-
- at the entrance from Highway M-05 (Kyiv–Odesa) to Uman, on Vyzvolyteliv Street—for Hasidic pilgrims only.
Taburets added that the sale of alcoholic beverages, fireworks, and pyrotechnic devices will be prohibited in the pilgrimage district.
