Uman authorities announced restrictions in the pilgrimage area

By Order of the Head of the Uman District Military Administration dated August 14, 2025,
No. 6 “On the Organization of Certain Security Measures During the Celebration of the Religious Holiday
Rosh Hashanah in 2025,” it is PROHIBITED from 12:00 a.m. on September 15, 2025, until 12:00 a.m. on September 30, 2025, in the pilgrimage district:

• • the bringing in or transport of alcoholic beverages

• • the sale of alcoholic beverages and alcohol-based
    substances (with the exception of medications approved for use and included in
    the State Register of Medicines and Disinfectants) within the territory
    of the pilgrimage site;

• • the sale and use of pyrotechnic devices, including fireworks, firecrackers,
    and other explosive substances that produce noise;

• • the sale of knives and other sharp or cutting objects;

• • the sale of air guns and toys that imitate weapons, in order to avoid confrontation between police officers and individuals carrying replica firearms;

• • carrying or transporting weapons and explosives, replicas, and objects resembling weapons.
