{"id":1820,"date":"2023-09-13T16:13:54","date_gmt":"2023-09-13T13:13:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umantravel.com\/?p=1820"},"modified":"2026-08-18T08:25:44","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T05:25:44","slug":"note-to-pilgrims-drugs-and-marijuana-are-prohibited-in-ukraine-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umantravel.com\/en\/note-to-pilgrims-drugs-and-marijuana-are-prohibited-in-ukraine-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Note to pilgrims: Drugs and marijuana are prohibited in Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note!!!<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, or shipment of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogues without the intent to sell (* including the importation of such substances into Ukraine during a pilgrimage *) constitutes a criminal offense, for which liability is provided for under the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Article 309).<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that, in accordance with Article 13 of the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons,\u201d a foreigner or stateless person is not permitted to enter Ukraine, among other things:<br \/>\r\nif such a person violated the rules for crossing the state border of Ukraine, customs regulations, sanitary norms, or rules at a border crossing point, or failed to comply with the lawful requirements of officials and officers of state border guard agencies, customs and other agencies exercising control at the state border;<br \/>\r\nif, during a previous stay in Ukraine, the foreign national or stateless person failed to comply with a court decision or a decision by state authorities authorized to impose administrative penalties, or has other outstanding financial obligations to the state, natural persons, or legal entities, including those related to a previous expulsion, even after the expiration of the period during which further entry into Ukraine is prohibited.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpm_excerpt clearfix\"><p>Please note!!!
