{"id":1391,"date":"2026-06-19T17:51:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-19T14:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umantravel.com\/?p=1391"},"modified":"2026-08-17T16:26:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T13:26:14","slug":"carriers-have-been-allowed-to-use-permits-issued-through-shehyni-at-two-additional-border-crossings-with-poland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umantravel.com\/en\/carriers-have-been-allowed-to-use-permits-issued-through-shehyni-at-two-additional-border-crossings-with-poland\/","title":{"rendered":"Carriers have been allowed to use permits issued through Shehyni at two additional border crossings with Poland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ukrainian carriers will be able to use permits for regular international passenger transport issued for the \u201cShehyni\u2013Medyka\u201d border crossing at two additional border crossings on the Ukrainian-Polish border.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are the following checkpoints:<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n\t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\u201cNyzhankovychi\u2013Malhovychi\u201d;<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\u201cSmilnytsia\u2013Kroscienko.\u201d<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine announced the relevant agreement.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why the changes were introduced<\/h2>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decision was made due to repair work on the Polish side of the \u201cShehyni\u2013Medyka\u201d border crossing.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The repairs began on June 15 and, according to preliminary information, will continue until the end of 2027. Due to the ongoing work, the processing of buses on this route may be delayed, which could lead to longer wait times at the border.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To reduce the load on \u201cShehyni\u201d and ensure the uninterrupted operation of regular bus routes, Ukraine and Poland have agreed to allow previously issued permits to be used at other border crossing points.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Permits will be valid at three border crossing points<\/h2>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From now on, permits issued for the \u201cShehyni\u2013Medyka\u201d route can be used at three border crossing points:<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n\t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\u201cShehyni\u2013Medyka\u201d;<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\u201cNyzhankovychi\u2013Malhovychi\u201d;<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\u201cSmilnytsia\u2013Kroscenko.\u201d<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The corresponding settings have already been added to the \u201ceCherga\u201d system.
