{"id":1343,"date":"2026-07-15T10:36:18","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T07:36:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/umantravel.com\/?p=1343"},"modified":"2026-08-17T16:17:17","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T13:17:17","slug":"there-are-plans-to-open-21-border-crossing-points-for-hasidic-pilgrims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umantravel.com\/en\/there-are-plans-to-open-21-border-crossing-points-for-hasidic-pilgrims\/","title":{"rendered":"There are plans to open 21 border crossing points for Hasidic pilgrims"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As preparations are underway for the Hasidic pilgrimage to Uman for Rosh Hashanah, special attention is being paid to the operations of Ukraine\u2019s border crossing points.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This was discussed during an interagency meeting at the State Border Service, according to the agency\u2019s press office.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Mykola Savchenko, a representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, it is currently difficult to predict exactly which routes will see the largest number of pilgrims this year. This may be influenced by the security situation and possible changes in air service with Israel.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, as was the case last year, 21 border crossing points are planned to be used for processing the entry and exit of pilgrims.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This approach should help distribute the workload at the border more evenly and ensure a more organized arrival of pilgrims in Ukraine.<\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, Rosh Hashanah will take place from September 11 to 13.
