In addition to the general security situation, pilgrims are advised to take into account practical difficulties that may arise during their trip.<\/p>\r\n

Among these is the congestion of ground transportation links with Ukraine. Due to the suspension of air service, pilgrims mostly arrive via neighboring countries and then travel to Ukraine by bus or private vehicle. This may place additional strain on roads and border crossings.<\/p>\r\n

Traffic delays are also possible due to shelling of transportation infrastructure.<\/p>\r\n

Another issue is the limited number of civil defense shelters in areas where large numbers of pilgrims gather in Uman. In the event of an air raid alert, this could complicate the organized sheltering of large numbers of people.<\/p>\r\n

In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that Uman may lack sufficient medical personnel and medical facilities to fully serve a large number of pilgrims.<\/p>\r\n
